OUR VISION

A Refreshingly Different Kind of Church, Where Ancient Meets Future…

Grace Church endeavors to be a biblically faithful witness to Christ and His gospel while intentionally creating a grace-filled culture for all generations. One means by which we seek to reach Flowery Branch is with worship services that incorporate historic and liturgical practices such as Scripture readings, congregational singing, corporate prayers, communion and observing the various seasons of the church calendar along with modern musical expression and faithful expository preaching from the Bible, resulting in a worship service that is at one and the same time both contemplative and celebratory, ancient and future.

OUR MISSION

To make disciples increasingly conformed to Christ’s likeness (Matt. 28:19-20; Rom. 8:29; Gal. 4:19; 2 Cor. 3:18)

VISION+2-1.png

OUR VISION

To be a people who love Christ supremely (Mark 12:30; Col. 1:18), love one another sacrificially (John 13:34-35), and love our community selflessly (Phil. 2:3-4)

OUR CULTURE

  • GOSPEL: The message of grace displayed in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is at the heart of everything we believe and do. (1 Cor. 15:3-4; Rom. 1:16).

  • WORSHIP: Costly grace freely given and received in the gospel inspires our fervent love, singing, trust, obedience, and sacrifice. (Matt. 22:37-39; Col. 3:16; John 14:15; Rom. 12:1-2)

  • COMMUNITY: Our belief in the gospel unites us to Christ and to one another in the household of God, forming a community of grace where we learn to know, love and serve one another. (Rom. 12:4-5; 10, 13; Eph. 4:32)

  • FORMATION: The gospel of grace is the primary means God uses to renew and transform us into the image and likeness of Jesus so that our character increasingly reflects his. (2 Cor. 3:18; Gal. 5:22-24)

  • MISSION: As stewards of the gospel, we are sent by Jesus into our city and world as ambassadors of reconciliation proclaiming the good news of salvation by grace through faith in him alone. (2 Cor. 5:14-15, 18-20; Matt. 28:18-20)
